Safe and sanitary salon

The safety of our guests (and staff) is our top priority. We are committed to providing services that meet the highest sanitation and hygiene standards in the beauty industry! To enjoy your visit to the fullest, we ask that our guests be aware of the following standards and request to help us ensure your safety and comfort as well as that of other guests and salon employees.

Our commitment to you:

  • We have studied and are meeting or exceeding the BCWorkSafe, PHO and BC guidelines for Personal Service Establishments
  • Relating to sanitation and hygiene
  • We have completely sanitized the establishment, all of our furniture, equipment, tools and supplies before re-opening and will do a full sanitization routine of the workstation, furniture, tools and implements between each client to ensure the safety of each and every one
  • Employees are asked to self assess themselves (and family members) every morning before coming to work
  • We are prohibiting employees who have a fever or are sick from engaging with guests or guest areas
  • Training employees on sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Our whole team took up-skilling training on disinfection, sanitation, and infection control protocols, all of our estheticians are BeautySafe certified 
  • Washing hands for a minimum of 20 seconds at the start and the end of every service
  • We will waive our current cancellation fee to guests that fall ill and are unable to make their appointment
  • Fully sanitize all treatment spaces between each service
  • Always providing clean sanitized linens and towels, (bleached and washed in hot water, dried at highest temperature)
  • All waxing treatments are only using disposable equipment, including the towel (as before), and as always there will be absolutely NO double dipping
  • We always use hospital-grade sanitizers
  • We have installed signage to remind everyone of the new rules and safety standards at our front door, our reception desk, in the changing rooms, the washroom, staff rooms, back bar and anywhere appropriate
  • Each esthetician will only service one client at a time; please note that client must come alone (no escort, spouse, friend, kids, pets)
  • We have hand disinfecting gel at the reception desk and at every station, anti-bacterial hand soap at all our hand washing stations and in the restrooms with single use paper
  • Spaced out the workstations by eliminating positions
  • All our entire team will be wearing masks ALL DAY and may wear gloves, face shields and protective googles for some services 
  • Our retail area is fully operational, please ask for assistance; our team will prepare you retail order for you and have it ready for pick-up as you leave our premises (we do encourage you to order online and take advantage of our curb side pick up service)

 

Covid19 – updated Salon policies:

  • We ask you to stay home if you are feeling sick, have a fever, cough or shortness of breath, please use the self assessment tool  > it is mandatory that you cancel
  • Please do not visit if you have been out of the province and/or the country (follow guidelines to self isolate)
  • Please do not visit if you have a sick family member in your house
  • Upon arrival, please use hand disinfecting gel, that we will be providing at the entrance for your convenience. You may opt to wear gloves if you want; note that we are not able to supply them as they are hard to find, and we must reserve our stock for our team.
  • For your safety and ours please wear a mask, it is mandatory, (if you don’t have a mask; we can supply you one at a minimal cost)
  • We will allow a limited number of guests into the salon, please expect wait times outside
  • We also reserve the right to lock the doors when we are at maximum occupancy
  • Please follow the signs and markers to move around in the salon
  • Follow the instruction of our personnel
  • No guests or children and pets (except service animals) will be allowed at this time (sorry!)
  • Remember to physical distance, when not possible face away from one another and move fast
  • No cash, currently we are only accepting debit and credit card, as contact-less payment is preferable
  • We will not be able to accommodate late shows, as it will take time away from our sanitation process
  • Please arrive to your appointment timely (no more than 10 minutes early) note that we may ask you to wait outside if our establishment is still at full capacity and that our waiting area is currently closed. Our coat check will be unavailable; please bring a large shopping bag where you can deposit all your belongings and keep them safe from contact with other guests clothing.
  • Note also that our refreshment services are limited to water in disposable cups; and that all magazines, menus and business cards have been temporarily removed for your safety.

Furthermore:

  • Our appointment times will be extended, to give our estheticians enough time to clean and sanitize after each client
  • At this time, we are not able to provide facials and full-face threading/waxing
  • Manicures and pedicures including gel will no longer be available for online booking, please contact us via phone to ensure adequate social distancing between clients
  • We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins, please book appointments either by phone or through our online booking agent
