David Serpa is the son of Lucia Serpa – making Dona Lucia Esthetics a true family affair.
Having a man in the salon business is not as common in Canada as it is in Europe. But David was immediately comfortable with the staff and clients, and they in turn immediately accepted him. His warm and comfortable manner puts everyone at ease and lends an extra element of calm to the salon.
David is one of Dona Lucia’s best assets because of his excellent business skills coupled with his easy-going nature. He is often asked for his advice on services, especially by our male clients, and is very knowledgeable about the products we carry.
In 2010, David and his wife Aileen – who works in the spa administration – had a beautiful baby boy named Maximilian who often visits the shop. Lucia hopes that one day Max will be the third generation of Serpas at Dona Lucia Esthetics!
